It is so important for a wedding photographer to be deeply involved in wedding plans from the start. The pressure on the day is immense not to hold up proceedings, so making sure that enough time is built in to allow for the desired photographs is vital. Most venues will allow and hour and a half for photographs, which has to be the minimum, but depending on the size of the wedding party, the number of guests, the desire for particularly artistic pictures, will all add extra time to the process.
My intention is always to get a firm plan detailed with every wedding couple and to liaise closely with their venues, ministers and planners to ensure that I can achieve the plan with the minimum amount of fuss and inconvenience.
