I had the pleasure in photographing Paul & Nicola at their wedding in Kettering, and I was reminded how even the smallest details can mean so much.
Grandparents are honoured guests at any family event and are treasured, their very presence almost defines the family, but what if they can not be there? Nicola’s grandparent had unfortunately passed a while ago, but as a mark of remembrance Nicola had laced both their wedding rings into the back of her dress so that they would be with her through the day. It was a small detail, hardly noticeable but very touching and sweet.
